Senedd Campaign 2026

Power Tends To Corrupt. Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely” (Lord Acton)

Drivers in Wales have had a deeply unpopular 20mph speed limit regime imposed upon them since 2023 by a deeply authoritarian, undemocratic and unpopular Welsh Labour Party which has held a majority of seats in the Senedd.

The Welsh Labour Party has held power since Tony Blair devolved government from Westminster to the Senedd in Cardiff over two and a half decades ago. It has not gone well.

Commenting on social media, one person summarised the situation as follows:

“Devolution was sold to us as a means to self govern our Nation without the additional red tape of bureaucracy.

What we got instead was a one party tin pot Dictatorship run by over promoted out of their depth local Councillors hell bent on following a twisted agenda no one supports to the detriment of the people they pretend to represent.

We were sold a lie”

A Democratic Deficit

The blanket 20nph scheme was never mentioned in Labour’s 2021 election manifesto and an early petition calling for it to be rescinded attracted nearly half a million signatures – more people in fact than the number of Labour voter in that election.

It is fair to assume that many more people who were against the 20mph limits did not bother to sign the petition and are now regretting not doing so.

Enough people now have experience of the scheme to suggest that they will want to use their vote in the 2026 Senedd elections to demand that the scheme be scrapped.

This will be in the face of dubious propaganda currently being pushed out through left-leaning and / or gullible media outlets as to the scheme’s contribution to saving lives which few thinking people are convinced of.

All political parties in Wales recognise that the “bonkers” 20mph scheme will be a key, if not the deciding issue in the 2026 Senedd election.

If all the people who signed the petition, plus those who didnt but now wish they had, were to a) turn out to vote in 2026 and b) voted for parties other than Labour, then Labour Party’s grip on Wales could finally be over.

The Party already appears to be acutely aware of the possibility of a wipeout, with many of therir existing members already jumping ship….

(Other Parties are akso available!)

What Have Welsh Drivers and Welsh Farmers Got In Common?

As well as the matter of 20mph limits there are multitude of other issues that voters are dissatisfied with in Wales, not least the treatment of Welsh Farmers.

It is no coincidence that these two groups have been targetted by Labour because, whether people are awake enough to see it yet, these two issues arise because of Stakeholder Communism which is alive and well in Wales as described below in the tab headed ‘The Globalist Takeover of Wales’.

It was under the umbrella of this globalist agenda that things as diverse as blanket 20mph and the taxing and land grab of farm land has taken hold.

The Much Need Shift To The Right

If the above argument is accepted then both Labour and Plaid Cymru should find themselves on the wrong side of history in 2026 as the so-called ‘Overton Window’ of Welsh Polictics shifts decisively to the right of the political spectrum.

This effectively leaves the Conservative and Reform Parties in a strong position to attract voters by making ending the ideological war on both motorists and farmers a central plank of their election campaigns whilst clearly denouncing the globalist zeitgeist.

(This shift in the Overton Window already appears to happening in Westminster. for example Conservative Party Leader Kemin Badenoch recently sought to distance the party from the globalist Net Zero madness and whilst writing this page, it has just been announced (18/4/25) that Robert Jenrick, her Shadow Justice Secretary now commands a 60 point lead over Kemi Badenoch)

Returning to the matter of the speed limits then, the question that voters will want to know is whether the parties on the right of Welsh politics can offer them a credible promise to scrap the scheme and whether they can be trusted to deliver on it if and when those voters allow them to get their hands on the levers of power.

For this to happen will need to muster bold, resoluute and visionary leadership to be able to succeed against the prevailing zeitgeist

they must have the right leadership, vision and purpose to be able to capitalise on this or whether they too are sleep walking to oblivion.

but the must have a have a.

>>> script in progress – still being edited below here

To avoid splitting the centre-right vote however, the parties will the need to find a way of working together for the good of the country, putting policies befor parties and ideally uniting behind our Five Reforms For Safer Roads Through Better Driving manifesto.

If this level of co-operation can be achieved for the greater good then this could be a watershed moment, not only for Wales, but for the United Kingdom as a whole in preparation for the General Election in 2029.

The Great British Policy Action Committe (GB PAC)

The Great British Policy Action Committe (GB PAC) (see separate tab) envisages that candidates will have thoroughly researched their policies before making promises to deliver them.

This degree of scrutiny will then enable them to hit the ground running once they become Ministers. GB PAC intends that promises made in election manifestos will be legally binding.

In this regard, we hope that GB PAC (the Great British Poltical Action Committee), previously described, will be invited to play a role and will rise to the occasion.

In summary, the Labour First Minister of Wales has been trying to serve two masters; the Welsh electorate on the one hand and the globalist Road Safety Industrial Complex on the other. The losers have been drivers, famers and just about everybody else. Parties on the right cannot afford to fall into the same trap. If the put the interests and wishes of the welsh people forst they will deserve to hold power for a very long time.

Will You Be The Welsh Transport Minister in 2026?

Our mission is to identify the next Welsh Transport Minister amongst candidates standing for the Senedd elections in 2026 so that we can fully brief them on our package of ‘Five Reforms’ with an expectation that these will be written into their Party’s election manifestos.

On the basis of “Promises Made, Promises Kept” those candidates will then canvass the electorate on a promise to implement the Five Reforms once elected, confident that they are in a position to resist the opposition that will come from globalists.

Authoritarians and Libertarians

There are two types of people are attracted to holding positions of power over others: Authoritarians and Libertarians

Authoritarians, as typified by the Welsh Labour Government, revel in having power and control over a submissive population and gain their status from it whereas Libertarians – the true conservatives – have no such egos and favour minimal State interference in peoples’ lives. Under a Libertarian government citizens are encouraged to take personal responsibliity – surely a good thing where road safety is concerned.

The wholesale infantilisation of drivers in Wales who have been trained and licensed to DVSA standards is both unnecessary and a deeply authoritarian measure which smacks of a Police State.

Under this regime punitive action has been taken against hundreds of thousands of drivers for ‘absolute offences’ against which there is no effective right of appeal, having been entrapped by speed limits set unreasonably low.

Blairs technocracy has ensured that no accountable human being is now involved in the system of issuing Notices of Intended Prosecution to people in their own homes without any regard whatsover of what else might be going on in their lives when the NIP drops though the letterbox, and the disastrous effect that this might have on them, up to and including suicide.

‘Fifty People Who Buggered Up Britain’

The sad part about this is that the culture of persecuting motorists actually began in North Wales in the early part of the twentieth century when “speed kills” zealot Richard Brunstrom was the Chief Constable. (See the article “Speed Kills – A Safety Scare That Costs Lives’ under the Resources tab)

This gained Brunstrom the justly deserved title of the “traffic taliban” and spawned an online protest group called “People For Proper Policing In North Wales.” People should have taken more notice of that group because the writing was then on the wall for the rest of the country.

According to Quentin Letts, in his book “Fifty People Who Buggered Up Britain”…

“Police forces should be feared by criminals and supported by the respectable majority. The warped genius of the British police in recent years has been to achieve the very opposite. – feared by dutiful citizens whilst being regarded by hoodlums and theives as a soft touch.

In this ill-guided endeavour special mention must go to Richard Brunstrom, traffic crazed Chief Constable of North Wales, who has pursued motorists to the point of frenzy”

The Beatings Will Continue Until Morale Improves!

The tyranny inflicted up decent people is seemingly now unstoppable and only strong political leaders can now reverse it – with a democratic mandate from the people because the reasonable and competent actions of responsible people should be legal!

Strong, visionary leadership from political parties with libertarian instincts is therefore needed to bring an end to the tyranny and misery visited upon drivers in Wales since Richard Brunstrom’s day.

This can only be achieved by removing Welsh Labour in the Senedd elections in 2026 because they have had their chance and paid lip-service to peoples’ concerns however much they may claim otherwise.

Democratic Accountability and Transparency

We believe that it is only within the context of our ‘Five Reforms Road Safety Campaign” that a genuine and reliable promise can be made to the electorate for the hated 20mph limits to be rescinded

This will be in the face of opposition from unelected WEF aligned lobby groups such as ‘Twenty’s Plenty’ and ‘Sustrans’ who support continuation of the scheme. Soundbite manifesto policies such as “Rescind 20mph” will be doomed to failure in the face of such opposition. Parties will need a better, more comprehensive plan

Our comprehensive package of measures includes putting police road traffic patrols back on the road and setting all speed limits rationally and reasonably once again because safety should be the only ideaology that matters. Other concerns such as active travel can be dealt with under the ‘Welcoming Roads’ initiative
