Nobody wants to live in George Orwell’s ‘Big Brother’ survellance society in which neighbours and other drivers grass you up to the authorities but thast is exactly what happens with Community Speedwatch Schemes and Operstion SNAP

That said, there may be some merit in these schemes if used in a measured way to help drivers become better more responsinle drivers; bringing to their attention their vulnerability and the need to improve their driving skills.

When operated in this way one would hope that most people will respond positively.
