On the home stretch editing the ‘OUR MISSION’ page ready for discussions with GB PAC next week with a view to getting us ‘campaign ready’. Still loads of filling in and editing to do however with the next priority being to complete the tabs under the ‘MORE ABOUT SPEED’ and ‘ALLIED ISSUES’ pages.
Wednesday 14th May
Added a tab under the Senedd Election 2026 page to compare the MANIFSTO PROMISES of the WELSH CONSERVATIVES and REFORM UK WALES. In an ideal world they will be the same. Other information added about the D’Hont electoral system. The OUR MISSION page edited to include Heidi Alexander’s announcement of a ten year review of road safety policy.

We have now added a tab under the ‘Voices of Reason’ page for the British Columbia Road Safety Organisation, Sense BC – Safety By Education Not Speed Enforcement – whose philisopy is completely aligned with ours. This is a significant addition to the site.
We fully support Sense BC’s assertion that: “The Reasonable and Safe Actions Of The Majority Of Drivers Should Be Considred Legal”

Back home now after enlightening discussions in Wales, even clearer as to what both voters and political parties need to do to rid Wales of the outrageous blanklet 20mph regime in 2026. Loads of editing to do now the consolidate the message that parties must denounce the WEF / Sustrans dominance of Welsh transport policy and get back to basics with our Five Reforms / Welcoming Roads proposition. Any Party too timid to do this may not be worth your vote. BUT THAT SAID – YOU MUST VOTE.

Editing accoss several pages now to get this site ‘campaign ready’ for the 2026 Senedd elections but still lots of work to do on the non-political / background information pages as well, so expect to see a lot of pages headed “Work In Progress” – but I WILL get there!
The ‘Insights Into Crashes’ tab is also shaping up with the inclusion of a few illustrative crash videos to cover everyday crashes and the more serious KSI crashes. Still more work to do though…

Some serious editing of the Wales Campaign Page taking place this morning to emhasise to political parties the approach that must be taken to ensure the reversal of the 20mph policy with democratic legitimacy.
Wednesday 19th March
Following a productive zoom meeting last night with allies from the Alliance of British Drivers I sprang out of bed this morning to edit the ‘About’ page, now called “Our Mission”. Someone from the meeting very kindly sent me a summary of the Chapter “Speed Kills – A Safety Scare That Costs lives” which now appears under the Resources tab, This gives vital backgroud information if you wish to understand how arch technocrat Tony Blair got us into the mess. Meanwhile my quest to secure a statistician for the Campaign team continues ….

Wall to wall editing and content creation from now starting with listing the Five Reforms on the About Page and structuring the Welcoming Roads Page ready to receive content over the coming weeks. Last but not least, important updates to the Wales Campaign and Great British PAC pages

Back at my desk for a while now after an interesting and productive trip to North Wales. Updated the Wales page of the site today and added information on the Great British PAC under the Political Campaign page. On the road again so no more editing for a few days but further networking to progress things and build the campaign network including with a driving examiner. Still trying to assemble a team of statisticians if anyone has contacts?

Following a productive few days networking with people in Wales, I am now back at my desk adding and editing pages to this website to support an unassailable case for change, with the backing of a growing number of people and organisations. The latest new page to be added this week is the Mind Driving page. Much more to say about this to follow.
